Originally established as an injection moulding business focused on waste bins, the company evolved to design and produce its proprietary range of water tanks, outdoor furniture, agricultural equipment, and components for defence vehicles. Maxiplas has maintained in-house design and manufacturing capabilities, enabling rapid product development and strict quality control. In November 2023, the rainwater tank manufacturing assets were acquired by APR Manufacturing Group, ensuring continued production at a new facility in Edinburgh. Maxiplas remains recognized for advanced equipment, innovation in plastic recycling, and leadership in water storage solutions.
